Now on its 15th year, the much-anticipated Manila International Auto Show or MIAS 2019 is back to host another explosive event that will surely stir-up the thrill among automotive junkies. As a little teaser for what’s in store, here’s a roundup of the hottest cars that will be showcased at MIAS 2019 this April.
Kia Soluto
The Kia’s first model to be launched under new distributor Ayala Corporation. The Soluto EX has many standard convenience and comfort features at a reasonable price point. The second new Kia model will be unboxed at MIAS
Subaru Forester
Though all too familiar in plain sight, the all-new Subaru Forester has been redesigned from ground up. Pegged as the roomiest and most capable Forester, the vehicle also boasts of an EyeSight driver-assist technology, a 2.0-liter four cylinder engine paired with CVT, and an active torque vectoring which improves the Forester’s handling and stability.
Suzuki Ertiga
A most welcome upgrade to the top-selling Ertiga, the all-new Ertiga MPV promises more interior space for passengers and luggage with its 130mm increase in length. With its flexible seating with sliding second-row seats and split-fold third row, the car can adapt to different needs. Meanwhile, its new grille and more pronounced shoulder lines are the exterior highlights. The inside boasts of a seven-seat interior, multiple USB power ports, second and third-row aircon, touchscreen audio, and available wood-design accents.

Known for offering businesses and Filipino families affordable and practical vehicle options, Foton will be unveiling another competitive range of mixed-use vehicles. Among these include the Gratour iM6, new TM variants of its mini-truck line, as well as updates to the 19-seater Traveller XL van, the 12- and 17-foot Tornado truck with van, the ETX-N cargo and crane truck, and the Hurricane EST-M with 20 and 22-foot capacity.
